An unpaved Dock Road can be seen running along the right side of the photograph. The Dalles Cherry Growers Building (at 101 Parallel Ave.) and the newly completed Recycled Aluminum Metals Company (RAMCo) Building (at 102 Kreps Dr.) can be seen in the background. The original industrial park sign can be seen on the left. This sign was fabricated by the Lyle High School metal shop class and installed in June 1981. A similar sign at the north entrance was created by the same class (though different students) two years later and installed in June 1983. When new signage was installed at the south entrance years later, the sign was removed. However, the north entrance sign remains as of 2015.
