The Colonial Explorer river cruise ship tied up at the Port's barge dock (with a new, paved apron). In the background, The Dalles Navigation Lock can be seen to the left and behind the ship, the 102 Parallel Building (aka Dallesport Foundry Building) to the left and behind the "Dock Facility" sign, and the 102 Kreps Building (aka RAMCo Building) behind and to its right. The sign in the photograph was created by Columbia High School Art Club member Adam Barton and installed in August 1983.
